Education Research and Training
  
NEP values the research as an important skill for all NGOs in order to broaden their knowledge on education issues and progress as well as to produce evidence base for policy recommendations. This year, NEP offers a training course on Education Research skills to its member organizations in building the capacity of their national staffs in conducting research studies on education issues.

 Training Methodology

The training will use a participatory approach to build the confidence of the participants in sharing and building their knowledge and experiences and to link the theories to practice. The participants will do a lot of practical activities in the field.

Course Objectives:
1)    To build capacity of national staff of NEP members on education research skills
2)    To produce evidence base on education issues to advocate for quality and equal access to education for all

Who are eligible to the course?

This course is designed for senior officers of NGOs working in education sector. It requires strong commitment from individual candidate and NGOs to fully participate in this training course.

Duration:
It is a three-week training course with a four-week break between part one and part two.
-    Part 1: May 24th  – June 4th ,2010 at Battambang province
-    Part 2: July  5th - 09th 2010, Venue will be confirmed
