A dissemination workshop on policy checklists funded by EU in the project “Tackling the Implementation Gaps in Education Reform, Mobilizing Civil Society” is conducted on Friday 14 October 2016 with participation of 63 NEP members (17 females), from 54 NGOs.
NGO Education Partnership was organized the last quarterly membership meeting to consolidate the Sustainable Development Goal 4 on 13th October 2016 at Juliana Hotel, Phnom Penh and 72 participants (17 females) from 65 NGOs members were participated in this meeting.
Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) pertains exclusively to education and sets clear and ambitious targets to realize the right to education for everyone. Goal 4 calls upon governments to "Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all".
Every stakeholder will need to be engaged in the consultation process of SDG4 localization so that there is a long term vision that is deeply rooted in the community, well-financed, and underpinned by national and sub-national policy. NEP have completed the consultation at the sub-national with education NGOs convened three Consultation Workshops on Contextualize the SDG4 for Cambodia at three groups of provinces covered 23 provinces in Cambodia.
