He has participated in many events, locally and internationally, that relate to education, especially inclusive Education. He has built a good relationship with the government departments including early childhood department of MoEYS. He works closely with key trainers in the education department at the national, and sub-national levels in order to build the capacity of the teachers and follow up on the implementation of knowledge and skills that they have learned.

Dr. Reimer has extensive knowledge of the primary education sector in Cambodia, having recently completed her doctoral research in this field. She has been working in various aspects of education in Cambodia for the past 10 years.

She spent 2015 in Southeast Asia getting acquainted with her parents’ homeland, a journey that took her all the way back to an Indonesian refugee camp.

Along the way, She discovered the Harpswell Foundation, a nonprofit in Phnom Penh working to empower the next generation of women leaders in Cambodia. Here, She learned that these women are the exception; only 1 in 10 Cambodian students today will complete grade 12. Even less will go onto university.

Mr. Kheng Piseth was one of the founders of Open Institute in 2006, working on the standardization of Khmer script in Computer (to UNICODE) as manager of the KhmerOS Program. In 2007 his interest shifted to ICT in Education, a topic on which he has worked since, becoming Executive Director of Open Institute in 2016. He has completed a Bachelor Degree on Computer Science and a Master’s Degree on Development Managment.

Ms. Nathalie Dupont

Ms. Nathalie Dupont has two Master Degree in Economy/urban geography and European Affairs & lobbying. She is an expert in international development and particularly in the area of vocational training and youth employment. She is expert in project management, project evaluation and advocacy. She has extensive experience in NGO’s networks coordination, board roles and responsibilities.

After first involvements on the development sector in Somalia and Liberia, Nathalie has joined the French NGO CCFD Terre Solitaire as desk officer and West Africa. She was in charge of the strategic support to the projects and local implementing NGOs as well as supporting the structuration of African civil societies and the dialogue with their government. Youth professional integration, in urban and rural areas had been defined as the priority in the areas and a new regional network was set up with 20 NGOs. In 2010, Nathalie changed position to become the advocacy manager of the French NGO platform coordination SUD. For 5 years, she managed a team in charge of facilitating working groups and discussions with the government on funding SDG in the sectors of education, agriculture and health.
